What first pulled you into the lash world?

Was it love at first set, or did it grow on you over time?

I was originally a hairdresser but wanted to specialize in something else. I liked doing hair but I wanted to try something else within the cosmetology field. I took a lash course in a whim and I loved it. I found it spontaneously.

How would you describe your lash style in three words?

Soft | Fluffy | Intentional

What’s been the biggest “aha” moment in your lash career so far?

A turning point, breakthrough, or lesson you’ll never forget.

My biggest “aha” moment was realizing that success didn’t come from competing with other lash artists. it came from identifying what my area was actually missing. Once I leaned into mobile services and introduced advanced options like NuLIDS and Lynk-Gel that weren’t widely offered locally, everything clicked. Finding the niche changed the trajectory of my business.

Do you find being a mobile lash tech as opposed to owning or leasing a studio more beneficial?

What benefits or drawbacks have you found in this methodology?

Yes, being mobile has been more beneficial for me. It allows me to work fewer hours while earning more, offer a quieter and more private experience for clients, and avoid back-to-back appointments in a single space. I get to be outside more, and be in different homes with different scenery. I enjoy the flexibility, movement, and variety that come with traveling to clients, and appointments tend to stay on time since I control the schedule, and am driving to them. The main drawback is logistics. Scheduling and travel require thoughtful planning, especially with a larger service radius, but the benefits far outweigh the challenges.

For your mobile appointments, do you travel with a full massage table?

I’m interested in learning what your typical setup involves and the average setup time for clients.

For the first 30 days (usually 2 appointments), I bring a massage table but then I require the client to purchase one after that. Some clients live in buildings with a spa room and I will set up there. It takes me about 10 minutes to set up and 10 minutes to pack up my equipment.

When did you first start using Lynk-Gel, and what made you curious about it?

Was it the tech, the speed, the safety, or all of the above?

November 2024. I first heard about Lynk-Gel around 2018. I realized there was not a lash artist in my area offering it, and knew it would set me apart. Then I began to read about it and how it was better for my clients (safety-wise) and myself. I also read how it was flexible which gave it more strength. I came to LashCon wanting to be certified in Lynk-Gel, and made it happen.

How has Lynk-Gel and the Lynk-Gel Device changed your lashing experience day-to-day?

Think speed, retention, comfort, confidence — whatever stands out most to you.

Especially retention. My clients noticed how much better it felt (more comfortable) and lasted. Now 95% of my clients do Lynk-Gel.

What was your first reaction after using the Lynk-Gel device?

Be honest — first impressions matter

It was hard to get used to holding it at first, then also filling one eye at a time. I always alternated eyes when I would fill (apply to left eye, then the right eye and back and forth). It was a difficult adjustment at first.

What’s one tip you’d give lash artists who are new to LED/UV lashing?

Something you wish you knew sooner.

I wish I'd become certified in the Lynk-Gel method sooner. It truly grew my business.

Just for fun — what keeps you inspired outside of lashing?

Hobbies, routines, music, self-care rituals… we want to know you.

Exercising, yoga, sound baths, nature walks, traveling, food & trying new food

Looking ahead, what’s next for you?

Where do you see your lash career (or creative journey) going in the future, and what are you excited to pursue or build next?

Becoming an educator & I just created The Lash Dispatch which will be a “lash news” and educational page for lash artists and clients!
